The aim of the Board of Governors is to ensure the long term viability of Foremarke School. The Board sets policies but is not involved with the day to day activities of the school. The Board is responsible for approving the annual budget and is also responsible for hiring and evaluating the Headmaster/mistress. The Board of Governors meets at a minimum of two times per year. The members of the Board are listed below.
Khaled AlMheiri is the founder and CEO of Evolvence Capital, a Dubai headquartered alternative investment company with assets of more than US Dollar one billion under management. He has overall management responsibility for all Evolvence Capital activities with a primary focus on strategic direction, business development and investor and regulatory relations.
He has extensive capital raising and investment experience and holds operational equity management and board mandates of various Evolvence Capital initiatives. He is the chairman of the Evolvence India Fund; Evolvence India Holdings,Plc, the first publicly quoted fund of funds for the Indian private equity market; Repton Dubai, the first overseas partner school of the prestigious UK public school; Evolvence India Life Sciences Fund, a private equity fund focusing on pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in India; Evolvence Education Holding, formed to promote educational institution in the GCC.
Mr. AlMheiri also currently serves on the board of Ithmar Capital, Arady Real Estate, Amzaan and Madison Harbour Capital.
Prior to founding Evolvence Capital in 2000, Mr. AlMheiri headed the North America department the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) where he specialised in technology and telecommunication equity investment.
Mr. AlMheiri holds a B.Sc. in Finance from Saint Louis University, Missouri, USA.
Mr. Nitin Kripalani, the CEO of Evolvence Knowledge Investments Limited (“EKI”) and a Board member of Ginza Holdings, Marka Sports Investments and Marka Fashion has more than 15 years of experience in private equity, research and corporate finance. He joined Evolvence in 2005, and played an instrumental role in conceptualising, structuring and launching Evolvence’s asset management platform. He has been involved in originating, executing, monitoring and exiting several transactions, both in the GCC region and India. In addition, he has been actively involved in financial and operational oversight of the retail operations of the group. Mr. Kripalani also serves as the Group Chief Operating Officer at Evolvence Capital. He was involved with the research team of Aspect Huntley Financial Services, focusing on companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, before joining Evolvence Capital.
Mr. Kripalani holds a Master of Business (with merit) degree from University of Sydney, Australia. He is also a CFA charter holder.
After graduating from Oxford with First Class Honours in 1961, Mr Owen worked at the UK Foreign Office and Treasury until 1970. He then joined Morgan Grenfell & Co. Ltd., where he became a director in 1974. In 1979 he joined Lloyds Bank lnternational Ltd. as Director of Merchant Banking. In 1984 he became Chairman of Lloyds Merchant Bank and Director of Investment Banking of the Lloyds Bank Group.
In 1988 Mr. Owen was recruited by the Hong Kong Government as Adviser on Securities Markets to lead the implementation of extensive reforms to the regulation and operation of Hong Kong’s securities and futures markets, following the market turmoil of 1987. This led to the establishment of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong, of which he became the first Executive Chairman in 1989. The SFC was a new statutory body established to take over regulation of Hong Kong’s securities and futures markets and to supervise and encourage their development. Mr. Owen served in this position until 1992, during which time the new regulatory system was firmly established and a number of further reforms and market development measures were introduced.

Currently he is Chairman of the International Securities Consultancy Ltd and a Board member of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and of Citibank (Hong Kong) Ltd. He is also Chairman of Repton International Schools Ltd. and a Governor of Repton School in the UK, as well as a Governor of Repton Dubai, Repton Abu Dhabi and Foremarke School Dubai.
Richard was appointed Headmaster of Foremarke Hall, Repton Preparatory School in April 2011 having previously held the same position in Devon and Shropshire. After gaining a BSc (hons) in Physical Education and Sports Science at his home town University, Loughborough and an MA in English Local History at University of Leicester, Richard initially taught PE and Games culminating in the post of Director of Sport at Kimbolton School.
Richard played cricket with Leicestershire and Derbyshire as well as Minor Counties Cricket for Dorset and Cambridge over a period of 21 years. He also played National League and County hockey. Richard is an ISI Inspector, past Chairman of IAPS District 6 (Midlands), a Director of IAPS and is currently a member of IAPS Strategy Committee. He is a member of MCC and a committee member of the Lord’s Taverners sitting on their National Independent Schools liason panel. Richard is Chairman of the Foremarke Trust. He is a regular contributor to education journals and a speaker on various educational topics, worldwide. He recently appeared in an episode of BBC TV’s ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’
A Director of RISL since 2013, Tony was educated at Loughborough Grammar School and at Christ Church, Oxford where he received an MA in Modern Languages. He has had a career in investment banking spanning nearly 30 years holding Managing Director positions at Depfa Bank, Kleinwort Benson and Credit Suisse, involving international capital markets, structured finance and corporate finance. He has been an adviser to multinational companies and governments in large infrastructure projects, risk management and in cross-border transactions. He has led transactions in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia in healthcare, technology, real estate, energy and media sectors. He is a Governor of each of Repton’s Gulf schools and also Chief Executive of Repton International and responsible for developing and managing the Repton school brand globally.
Niel McLeod is Director of Academics and Education at Evolvence Knowledge Investments. He joined Evolvence in 2015. Mr McLeod has over 25 years of experience in English education, working in senior leadership roles for the past 20 years including 7 years as a Head Teacher. As a leader, he has experience of developing new schools in the UK and his work on assessment was featured as a national case study of good practice. Since 2011 Mr McLeod has worked as a School Inspector for Ofsted, inspecting schools across the UK.
In 2012 Mr McLeod planned and delivered a digital learning transformation project that became a world-wide case study. In the past five years he has been in demand as an educational consultant in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, specializing in supporting schools in implementing technological change to raise standards. He has presented at conferences in the UK, Europe, the USA and China. Mr McLeod holds a BA in Education from the Christ Church University College in the UK and the National Professional Qualification for Head Teachers in the UK.
Mr. Zorob has ten years of experience working across various asset classes and sectors with strong focus on the education and retail sectors in the MENA region.
Mr. Zorob currently heads the Strategic Planning and Investments team at Evolvence Knowledge Investments (EKI). The team is responsible for identifying, structuring, funding, and executing investment opportunities in the private education space, spearheading business development initiatives as well as assisting the CEO in setting strategies of a rapidly growing company. Besides sitting on Repton School Dubai Board of Governors, Mr. Zorob represents EKI on the Boards of all of its schools offering not only his strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills but also a deep knowledge of the market and of private schools operations.
He joined Evolvence Capital, EKI’s sponsor, in 2006, coming from Azadea Group where he worked in the corporate finance team as a junior analyst. As a financial analyst at Evolvence, he performed market analyses and feasibility studies for green field projects and assisted in the incubation and management of few ventures mainly in the retail and education sectors; Repton School Dubai was one of these ventures. He then moved to work with Evolvence MENA Hedge Fund as a trader monitoring, analyzing and trading in MENA region’s equity, fixed income and OTC derivatives markets. Mr. Zorob occasionally represents Evolvence Capital on management committees of portfolio and other related companies.
Mr. Zorob holds a Bachelor in Business Administration with distinction from the American University of Beirut and the CFA certificate.
Mrs. Henriot is an Associate in the Strategic Planning and Investments team at Evolvence Knowledge Investments (“EKI”). The team is responsible for identifying, structuring, funding, and executing investment opportunities in the private education space, spearheading business development initiatives as well as assisting the CEO in setting strategies of a highly growing company. Mrs. Henriot sits on the Board of Governors of all EKI’s schools, taking part in setting up the strategy and goals of each school and monitoring their performance.
Prior to joining EKI, Mrs. Henriot has been working in consulting for seven years, primarily in Europe. She was a Manager in Customer Relationship Management, advising Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries such as Banking, Retail, Transportation, Telecommunications and Energy; devising and implementing growth strategy, running efficiency analysis, identifying and leveraging operational synergies.
Mrs. Henriot holds a Masters degree in Telecommunications Engineering from INSA Lyon, France (2004) and a Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD, Singapore / France (2012).
Saifuldeen El-araj is a proud parent of his two children attending Foremarke School.
Mr. El-araj joined Oman Fasteners L.L.C. (leader in manufacturing of quality engineered steel nails) at the start of operations in 2012 in the role of General Manager, responsible for senior operations where he handles all facets of day-to-day operations pertaining to Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources.
During the last 15 years, Mr. El-Araj progressed in multicultural professional environments where he has been in a leadership roles in several fields as varied as Trading, Manufacturing, and investment. Also, he obtained the knowledge and the experience to re-engineer company business processes to fulfill and comply with market standards and governance requirements.
Mr. El-Araj earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida, USA where he majored in Finance.
