Boys and girls are admitted to Foremarke School from 3 years old. We are open for Nursery (FS1), Reception (FS2) and Years 1 to Year 6. We offer the English National Curriculum which we extend and adapt. Our curriculum is academically demanding and designed to extend and challenge our pupils. Foremarke School does not offer English language support and all pupils must be fluent in English (at a level appropriate to their age) and able to access our entire curriculum in English.
As part of the admissions process, we assess each child. We also invite all prospective parents to meet with the Headmistress, Mrs Naomi Williams.
As a British curriculum primary school, after the Foundation Years (Nursery and Reception or FS1 and FS2) Foremarke follows the British system (which eventually finishes at Year 13).
Foremarke School considers three things before accepting a pupil:
Specific learning difficulties may not prevent pupils from joining the school, provided all information and documentation is shared with the school prior to assessment and the school is satisfied that it is able to meet the needs of the child.
The school year runs from September to June but we are able to admit pupils through the year if places are available, subject to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) regulations.
The regulations are listed below:
Moving within Dubai from a different or similar curriculum:
1st September to end of the academic year for all pupils.
Moving from outside Dubai from a curriculum other than English:
1st September to 15th November.
Moving from outside Dubai from an English curriculum or from a curriculum that has no equivalent curriculum school in Dubai:
1st September to 5th May.
